Cheryl Hines

Cheryl Ruth Hines was born on the 21st of September 1965, in Miami Beach, Florida, to Rosemary (Graham) and James Hines She grew up in Tallahassee, Florida. She attended West Virginia University, Florida State University and then graduated in the University of Central Florida. She studied theater and television production, but it was not until she moved from Los Angeles and studied at the Groundlings Theater that she felt she had really learned anything regarding comedy. Lisa Kudrow, her first instructor at the Groundlings Theater was a great instructor. Additionally, she learned to write comedy and come up with sketches. It helped her get ready to play the character of David's wife in HBO's Curb Your Enthusiasm (2000). Since dialogue is usually improvised in comedy dramas, she's at home.
