Tina and Amanda
Tina Louise, an American actress and writer best known for portraying Ginger Grant on the television show Gilligan's Island in the late 1960s. The actress began her career as a stage performer in the 1950s, beginning with Two's Company a musical by Bettle Davis. Then she performed in a variety of Broadway productions until she made it famous in the national stage space with Li'l Abner' in the year 1957. She also released her first music album called It's time for Tina within the same year. Louise made her foray into Hollywood playing Griselda Walden in God's Small Acre, a dramatic film that debuted in 1958.The film received a crow's-foot of acclaim as well as Louise got the Golden Globe Award in the New Star of the Year category. She joined the Actors Studio in New York and formed a connection to Lee Strasberg as his student. Her most memorable performance came with the year 1964, when she was signed by CBS for the role of Ginger Grant in 1964. Louise performed a superb performance juggling Broadway as well as Hollywood. She was portrayed as a dark and contrasting characters in contrast to the glamorous doll she was perceived as. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. The SG-1 series, as well as Helen Magnus on Sanctuary. Recently, she's becoming a highly-acclaimed director on the most popular TV shows, including Supernatural and The 100. Born in Essex in Ontario on the 29th of August in 1965 her family emigrated to Toronto in the age group of three. She spent the majority of her youth there and then her adolescence. After being chosen for the role of Samantha Carter, she moved to Vancouver at the age of 17 and is a resident of Vancouver ever for the last ten years.
